Under her strategic leadership, Cisneros has expanded and modernized its operations, reinforcing its position as a diversified, innovative global organization.
Media & Entertainment Leadership
As CEO, Adriana oversees Cisneros Media, a premier global entertainment provider that reaches more than 50 million viewers worldwide through its linear platforms and serves 25 million Pay-TV subscribers across the United States, Latin America, the Caribbean, and Spain.
Venevision, the company’s flagship media brand, has maintained market leadership in Venezuela for more than six decades and remains a cornerstone asset in Cisneros’ media portfolio. As one of the region’s most established broadcast brands, it has evolved into a fully integrated, cross-platform content ecosystem spanning traditional broadcast, streaming, and digital distribution.
Noticiero Venevision, the network’s principal news division, is a strategic pillar of the platform, delivering comprehensive news programming across channels and reinforcing the brand’s editorial credibility and audience engagement. Together, these assets support long-term relevance and strategic positioning in a rapidly shifting global media landscape.
Consumer Goods: Laboratorios FISA
Adriana also leads Laboratorios FISA, a 70-year leader in Venezuela’s personal care industry. FISA produces 80% of its portfolio locally, including iconic brands such as Drene, and serves households nationwide through an extensive distribution network and a dedicated team of more than 200 employees.
Digital Innovation
Adriana has a proven track record of building and scaling digital ventures. She founded and grew Cisneros Interactive into one of Latin America’s leading digital advertising networks, representing global technology companies including Meta, Spotify, and LinkedIn, before its strategic sale to Entravision. She is currently a partner in Bunker and The Electric Factory, companies at the forefront of data analytics and advertising innovation.
Global Connectivity
Cisneros was the first investor in AST SpaceMobile, a company pioneering direct-to-device broadband connectivity via low-Earth-orbit satellites. Adriana serves on the public board, supporting the company’s mission to expand global connectivity and help bridge digital divides through next-generation telecommunications infrastructure.
Real Estate & Sustainability
Through Cisneros Real Estate, Adriana oversees Tropicalia, a sustainable luxury resort development in the Dominican Republic. Its first phase, which includes a Four Seasons Hotel and Residences, is set to open in early 2027, underscoring her commitment to innovative and responsible development.
Board Service & Philanthropy
Adriana serves on the boards of directors of Ford Motor Company, Mattel, and AST SpaceMobile. She is President of Fundación Cisneros, advancing educational access and cultural initiatives across Latin America, and serves on the boards of the Knight Foundation and the Cisneros Institute at the Museum of Modern Art. She also serves as a Trustee of The Nature Conservancy’s Caribbean Division.
Education
Adriana holds a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University and a master’s in journalism from New York University. She is a Henry Crown Fellow, a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Program for Leadership Development.
