  • The name of the center recognizes the career of a global businessman whose legacy of innovation and agility is a benchmark in the business world.

  • The signed alliance includes the construction, development, and adaptation of the required infrastructure within the educational institution.

Caracas, May 28, 2026 - Adriana Cisneros, alongside Universidad Metropolitana (UNIMET), has signed a framework agreement for an inter-institutional alliance and cooperation. This agreement includes the execution of the construction and adaptation project for the UNIMET Entrepreneurship Center, a top-tier space dedicated to strengthening creative thinking, agility, innovation, and an entrepreneurial mindset within the Venezuelan educational community.

"I am proud to join forces with Universidad Metropolitana, an institution with a long history in Venezuela that cross-cuttingly promotes an entrepreneurial mindset among students across all its degree programs. I also celebrate that the academic-business approach they use is framed within the pedagogical practices and intellectual leadership of Babson College," expressed Adriana Cisneros, CEO of Cisneros.

This alliance holds a special significance since Universidad Metropolitana is a member of the Babson Collaborative, the global network for entrepreneurship education and development promoted by Babson College in the United States. This is the very institution of higher education where Gustavo Cisneros studied 60 years ago, which allowed him to anticipate business opportunities and structure his own patterns of success for the future.

The UNIMET – Gustavo Cisneros Entrepreneurship Center, which is estimated to open in September, will be tailored to maximize its capacity for training, transformation, and collaboration. The goal is to promote the development of a sustainable business model with a forward-looking vision that establishes Venezuela as a benchmark in business.

"My words are of gratitude for opening up the possibility for us to be part of this alliance, which is a source of pride for everyone. It allows us to help strengthen this university's purpose of training talented professionals for business development and entrepreneurship, thereby materializing that possible future the country so greatly needs," stated María Isabel Guinand, Rector of Universidad Metropolitana.

The agreement between Cisneros and Universidad Metropolitana will allow for the design of academic, economic, cultural, and research projects, programs, and activities. These initiatives will positively impact the development of professional capabilities oriented toward entrepreneurship and purposeful education, understanding that the future of Venezuela is built on the long-term vision of solid institutions.
