(Miami, January 20, 2012) – Venevision International, a global entertainment company of the Cisneros Group of Companies, announces the first international sale for the rights to broadcast the much-awaited telenovela “El Talmisman” [The Talisman], the new production in High Definition (HD) by Venevision Productions in association with Univision Studios that headlines the company’s programming proposal for the international content market NATPE 2012, which takes place next week (January 23rd though the 25th) at the Fontainebleau Resort in Miami Beach.
Starring Blanca Soto, Rafael Novoa and Aaron Diaz, “El Talisman,” which will soon have its grand world premiere on the Univision Network, was acquired by Chilevisión, the channel that recently began airing another great production by Venevision Productions, “Corazon Apasionado” [Passions of the Heart], the telenovela with Marlene Favela and Guy Ecker that has been enjoyed by the Chilean television public.
“We have high expectations for ‘El Talisman’ and the international sales we will achieve thanks to the high level of production achieved by Venevision Productions; since we announced the beginning of pre-production of this novela, it has been the one most solicited by our clientele throughout Latin America,” emphasized Cesar Diaz, Vice President of Sales of Venevision International who assured that “we have another great international hit on our hands.”
More than 500 entertainment content buyers from 43 countries are expected to attend the international content market NATPE 2012.
