The debut will take place this coming Saturday, September 13th, at 9:00 PM (PST) at the Egyptian Theater as part of the 12th edition of the renowned Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival (LALIFF).

The Cisneros Group of Companies, a global media and entertainment company, and China Central Television (CCTV), the principal media company in the People’s Republic of China, today signed a groundbreaking agreement during the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing, allowing the Cisneros Group and CCTV to pool their resources to distribute television programming in their respective markets, in an effort to improve awareness of both Hispanic and Chinese culture.

Miss Universe 2008 Dayana Mendoza is the newest "Madrina" of the Latino Commission on AIDS, announced Dennis deLeon, President of the Latino Commission on AIDS. Dayana Mendoza visited the offices of the Commission in New York on July 23rd and received a comprehensive briefing on the impact of HIV/AIDS among Hispanics in the United States and Territories.
