VVI Successfully Implements Format of Casos de familia with SBT

Díaz: VVI’s tested formats can be successfully adapted to a variety of markets.

Venevision International (VVI), together with Sistema Brasileiro de Televisão (SBT), successfully implemented the format of Casos de familia to renew the Brazilian production of the talk show of the same name, and consequently improved its ratings and led the program from fourth to second place in market share in its schedule. The global marketing of this format is the mission of the Department of Formats and Production Services of Venevision Productions.

Juan Andrés Rodríguez, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Venevision Productions, who oversees the Department of Formats and Production Services, said: "Due to the success of our edition of Casos en familia in the U.S. and across Latin America, SBT asked us to apply our format to their version of the talk show. We are proud to announce that the premiere of the new version of Casos en familia of SBT attained excellent ratings results. Having met the targets set, the show’s production has since May 31, 2009 returned to the skilled hands of SBT.”
