MTV Networks International has struck a number of branded block deals in Latin America and has renewed a key programming deal in Spain.
The Viacom-owned international broadcaster inked a deal with Venezuelan broadcaster Venevision and Nicaraguan network Telenica to launch Nickelodeon branded blocks in the country. It will air series including Dora The Explorer, SpongeBob SquarePants and Penguins of Madagascar.
This comes as MTV Networks International has renewed a key in Spain with public broadcaster TVE. The Spanish network will air series including live action kids series iCarly and movie spinoff Penguins of Madagascar on its kids channel Clan TVE.
