Educational Channel to Reach Homes

| El Caribe (translated)

Educational programming offered by the Cisneros Group’s educational channel cl@se will be available to all Wind Telecom subscribing households in the Dominican Republic.

The content includes subjects such as languages, science, culture and mathematics, among others, announced the General Manager of cl@se, María Ignacia Arcaya. Jose Clase, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Wind Telecom, stated that this initiative is an extension of the first agreement that was recently signed, by which programming was made available to public schools that are part of the "Wind en la Escuela" project.

This alliance seeks to put technology at the service of education by offering the renowned content of cl@se, which can be tuned in on Channel 59 on Wind Telecom.

Cl@se broadcasts international educational entertainment 24 hours a day, reaching about ten thousand homes through Wind TV’s digital television system.

Its content targets the three most important groups in the educational system: children and youth 6 to 18 years of age, parents and teachers.

Arcaya said the Cisneros Group is at the forefront of technological advances and options that information and communication technologies offer, especially when they can contribute to the education of children and adolescents in Latin America.

Wind en la Escuela
The initiative of the cl@se channel joins the "Wind en la Escuela" project which consists of special educational programming to supplement the education of students in the formal education system of public and private schools in the National District and the Santo Domingo and Santiago provinces.
