Fundación Cisneros and the Dominican Institute of Telecommunications (Indotel) signed an agreement yesterday to bring digital education to children, youth and teachers from the town of Miches.
The agreement also involves the district of La Gina and the Nuestra Señora de la Altagracia parish. The agreement was signed by the President of the foundation, Adriana Cisneros, and the President of Indotel, José Rafael Vargas.
The agreement establishes the installation of a “Computer Training Center” (CCI) in La Gina.
“The economic, social and educational paradigm in this community is changing. We are now installing knowledge rooms which involves youth, children, teachers and employees from the area,” said Vargas.
