Miguel Dvorak is the President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Cisneros Group of Companies, one of the largest privately held media, entertainment, telecommunications and consumer products organizations in the world.
As President and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Dvorak oversees the strategic development and day-to-day operations of the Cisneros Group, and its companies that serve millions of customers in over 100 countries. Operations range from broadcast television and television production to telecommunications and travel resorts. Some of the Cisneros Group of Companies’ key holdings include: Venevisión, Venevision International, and Venevision Productions.
Mr. Dvorak is also the President of Venevision, the leading private television network in Venezuela, a position he has held since February 2006. Since joining the Cisneros Group of Companies in 1977, Mr. Dvorak has had a long and successful career. The positions he has held include Vice President of Corporate Treasury of the Cisneros Group, Director of Purchasing for Pueblo Inc. in Puerto Rico, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Manager of Purchasing and Treasury Manager at CADA and O´Caña Distributor.
Miguel Dvorak is an Accounting professional with a specialization in logistics, treasury and finance from the Institute of Advanced Management Studies (IESA) in Venezuela and Babson College in Massachusetts.
